CSE: New CalcExpress Script Engine

File name: cse_252.zip
File size: 2752 KB
Release date: Sep 12, 2003
Requirements:
CalcExpress: v 2.4
LabVIEW: v 6.1 or higher

CSE is a new generation of a script processor included in CalcExpress for LabVIEW toolkit. CSE introduces new advantages:
- possibility to call scripts from a script.
- possibility to control script execution using a callback VI.
- possibility to build a custom script engine on the base of CSE VIs.
- linking a parsed script with the source script.
- etc.

CSE comes together with new Interactive Script Processor that uses these advantages in order to provide new features:

- Error navigation to a source script for both parsing and runtime errors.
- Script debugging in terms of a source script.
- Tracing script execution: step into/out/over/to cursor, stop on breakpoints, restart.
- Easy way to inspect and manage variables.
- etc.

CSE is a free update to CalcExpress 2.4. It can also be used with a CalcExpress Evaluation (see above) in order to learn its capabilities.
